August 6, 2026, State Primary and County General elections

Today is Election Day.  If you have not early voted, you will need to vote at the precinct where you are registered.  Your polling place can be found on your voter registration card, by calling the Trousdale County Election Commission or by using the GoVoteTN app run by the Tennessee State Election Coordinator's office.  Polls are open until 7 pm.
 

When you come out to vote please remember that a Tennessee State or Federal Government issued photo ID is required to use the electronic voting machine.  Please remember that no campaign literature or items are allowed inside 100 feet of the polling place entrance(s) used to vote or inside the polling place itself. This includes t-shirts, hats and buttons. The use of mobile or electronic communication devides for conversations, recording, taking photos or taking videos in the polling place is prohibited by state law.  These devices can be used for informational purposes to assist in making election decisions.  If there are write-in candidates in your district, please know the name of the candidate for whom you wish to vote.  Poll officials are not allowed to provide the names of write-in candidates.  You may bring a voting aid, such as a paper with their name written on it, when you enter the polling place.  Social media and the local newspaper are good sources to find the names of those candidates and the platform on which they base their campaign.
